FT and multiple CPUs

I saw an article in 2009 regarding FT that can't support more than CPU, see the following link:

I can't find any document that the current vSphere 5.1 still has this limitation or not.

If you know vSphere 5.1 FT can support more than one CPU for Exchange and SQL servers, please let me know.
